2. What is PETP?
PETP is an effort to form a body to give plants who have no one to speak up for them a voice, a means of expressing themselves through individuals who care, people who believe in the equslity of all of GODs creations - irrespective of whether they are plants or animals. Though not an active organsiation with the help of people who care we can make it an active PETP a reality

3. What does the PETP believe in?
The PETP essentially believes that all living beings plants and animals, animate and inanimate are equal and deserve equal treatment. (See "WE BELIEVE" - PETP Believes...)

4. PETP loathes......?
The "don't kill and eat an animal, be humane and kill and eat a plant instead" attitude.

  FREQUENT MISCONCEPTIONS
1. "ANIMAL'S FEEL THE PAIN, PLANTS DON'T."
Nothing can be further fromt the truth. Plants are sensitive to touch. Mimosa Pudiga .. more commonly known as the Touch me Nots, illustrates the sense of touch in Plants. Where there is a sence of touch there is a sence of pain that accompanies injury.

Why is it assumed that plants, inanimate living beings, unable to express pain in a way we perceive it, don't feel pain.!!!!!!
